In a pitch black room deep under the vaults beneath London Bridge Station, sinister generative sounds responding to hidden proximity sensors accompany a projection of rotating heads created from 3D maps of Tkachuk’s paintings. Created using Arduinos, Max/MSP and Ableton Live.

44 20 7193 9238. On 25 November 2012, I ran a workshop for the Music Hackspace on creating an instrument from the webcam on the laptop. Drawing inspiration from Memo Akten’s Webcam Piano 2.0. In the class we looked at the basics of openFrameworks, video processing with Open CV, driving Ableton Live with MIDI and musical geometries like the Tonnetz.
