Celia's art blog: Gnomes and Construction Workers
http://celiabee.blogspot.com/2009/04/gnomes-and-construction-workers.html
Sunday, April 26, 2009. Gnomes and Construction Workers. My class had an INCREDIBLE model last month. He was a middle aged man with a big, white beard. His costumes were incredibly original. All three of them! I worked in ink most of the time. It's getting a little easier now. Just when I though it couldn't get any more fun, the model dressed as a lawn gnome! He had the big ears and everything. It was a real scream. Hello hello ms celia, how are you? May 6, 2009 at 1:47 AM. June 5, 2009 at 12:43 PM.

Friday, July 18, 2008. I love my pussycat, Mister Jinks. I found him in Prospect Park on 6/06/06, and he's been my pet ever since. This furry little animal brings me so much joy. However, his black fur is tough to draw! Links to this post. Monday, July 7, 2008. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I'm a freelance animator living in the New York area. Sunday, March 15, 2009. I wanted this number two to be in a golden books style. Flash can't capture those nice brushy gradients, but I was happy with how it came out. Also, Flash Cs4 has a pattern brush that makes patterns out of your symbols. Links to this post. Tuesday, March 3, 2009. I've been trying out the newest version of Flash. Here's is a sketch I did last week. This character will be in my upcoming film. Far from being final, but pretty close to how I see her looking. Links to this post.

Wednesday, July 8, 2009. These were way before my time, but test patterns always fascinated me. They are sterile, technical, sometimes busy, but have this lovely sense of design to them. There were also those mysterious patterns with Indian chief heads on them, which made them more eery and mysterious to me. Here are some of my favorites black and white test patterns:. The mysterious Indian Test Patterns:. Aren't these last two beautiful? Who knows if the programming was any good! Links to this post.
