I am saying this as a reminder to myself as well because I am not always the best at staying happy during this time in my life. It Is so much easier to feel sorry for myself and mope around. I need this constant reminder in my life because sometimes it just gets too tiring to try and smile while going through my surgeries and constant doctor appointments. October 10, 2014.

So a couple of months ago I finally had a port inserted into my chest. My veins were starting to recede and it was getting harder and harder to access my veins. Sometimes I would have to get poked two or three times before they got it right. And this was by really good experienced nurses. Below is some more information on what a port is.
