Pat Ford's secrets come out of the closet. September 20, 2011. Good morning. It’s me again. Because my going-on-80 blob didn’t start celebrating birthdays till late October of last year, I’m trying to catch up. As far as family and friends are concerned, his undercover name is Craig. Craig is so undercover, that even Octo-woman has never met him. She thinks it’s terribly exciting to have a mystery man in her Roladex. Of course, the one thing everybody who knows anything knows – is that under cover of darkness, he’s a dancin’ man. Man Be...

Pat Ford's secrets come out of the closet. 363 Craig Fortune →. 362 Flunking the Test. September 3, 2011. Amidst the chaos and stress of the past weeks, I had an additional unpleasant experience – for the fourth time in my life, I flunked a test. Daughter Lisa and granddaughter Josie went with me to the Driver’s License Office to renew my driver’s license in time for my September 6 deadline, and I failed the eye test. Oh, rats! Nobody seems to understand why I want to have a driver’s license anyway. ...

Pat Ford's secrets come out of the closet. 365 Labor Rooms I Have Known →. 364 Driving Tips from Octo-Woman. September 5, 2011. The blob this week about failing my eye test while trying to renew my driver’s license reminded me once again of my erstwhile driving days of yore. While no one has ever suggested that I was a good driver, I do believe I should be recognized for my tactical skills in avoiding getting traffic tickets. Back then, the Pike Place Market was the place to go if you were a hard-core.

Fueled by Clouds & Coffee: Sketching with a Machete

Fueled by Clouds and Coffee. Urban sketching: It's not a hobby; it's a lifestyle. Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Sketching with a Machete. Occasionally I’ve talked about my goal to practice drawing daily. Is not the right term, as that implies a result. I have no specific, measurable outcome (other than eventually improving my skills in the long-term sense). Drawing daily is more about a regular practice that forms a habit. Or perhaps a lifestyle philosophy, like yoga. Chicago urban sketcher Alex Zonis.

Following My Creative Muse. Sharing with you the experiences, people, places and creativity I enjoy. Thursday, January 31, 2008. No, I didn't get lost, just sort of side-tracked! I am getting ready to go to the beach with 3 of my friends for a mini 4-day retreat so haven't taken the time to blog. I do have some photos to share with you, though, and wanted to do that before I leave. Instead, I'll share the freeform brick stitch heart I created in Tina Koyama's workshop at Art and Soul 2007. On that note, ...
