Wednesday, September 14, 2011. Wow, it has been along time since I had anything to post. I'm working on R2's new foot motor holders and his foot shells. These are the very old Kelly Krider foot shells, I have been putting off working. On them due to the fact that they needed so much work. Even the center area for the ankle to mount did not come with the foot. I now have the center ankle area installed and now I'm filing the channel to fit. All of this stuff I've had put away for a longtime.

A place to track my progress of building a real life-size R3. Sunday, June 6, 2010. Well, here it is! The fully styrene CloneWars leg is now completed. I here by dub these the Calvin CW Styrene Legs! Lol Or maybe we could call them the C&C (Calvin&Crissy) styrene legs. All it needs now is some putty work here and there, the little details that go on it, and some paint. A place to track my progress of building a real life-size R3. Sunday, November 29, 2009. It's getting taller. :O. We taped the skins on to the frame to see if they fit, and they fit great! The drawings on the skins are going to be changed since I'm doing the Clone Wars version. Links to this post. Friday, November 27, 2009. It was taken to Milagro, reprogrammed and surreptitiously returned to the Republic to act as a spy. After the loss of R2 during the Battle of Bothawui, R3 was assigned as a temporary replacement to Anakin Skywalker during the search for R2-D2. Today was the big Florida Vs Georgia college football game and Dad decided to bring him out in the crowd. Man, people were flipping out over him! Also the last pic is my kitten I found under my house 4 weeks ago. One of my outside cats bred with a siamese cat apparently and she only had 2 kittens. Links to this post. Apparently my mom loves to build skirts or something because a few days ago when I got home she was already cutting out pieces and everything way before I got home. So most of the skirt was built by her. lol. And also, Good news! Todd a fellow builder and friend, volunteered to help me paint Goldie! Will post pics when I do get it primed.

Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Mega was real blast this year as the Southern R2 Builders Group joined forces with the Rebel Legion. Our joint efforts made the booth Awesome! Wednesday, July 22, 2009. Here's a preview of how the side panel will work in R2's dome. My camera really did not do the screen justice, It looks allot better than this video. I'm placing red in between each picture so I don't stray to far away from the red in the real R2. It will be a interesting addition to my R2. Now just to get it mounted :o).
