Wednesday, 7 October 2009. About to head out to Carreg Goch, the 'bomber' and the waterfall near Llwyncwmstabl. Looking back over the Giedd Forest. The wind was blowing at the top of Carreg Goch. Time for a fag. The Saturday walkers - from the left: Me, Pete, Maria, Marcus and Colin. The sight where on Nov 20th 1944, during a training flight, the Wellington bomber MF 509 crashed.
