crunchy by accident: catching up
http://doozits.blogspot.com/2015/08/catching-up.html
The doozit family blog. Wednesday, August 5, 2015. I haven't blogged on here very much, but it's probably time to change that. We have a lot of crunchiness going on in this house and I keep meaning to write about it somewhere. It doesn't really go on my energy blog. So, sorry for no updates in a while. We have a lot of fun things going on. Crunchy fun things like DIY herbal medicine, a new Big Berkey water filter, homemade mama cloth and family cloth (! I'm excited to share! crunchy by accident: Why I don't use baby food
http://doozits.blogspot.com/2014/04/why-i-dont-use-baby-food.html
The doozit family blog. Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Why I don't use baby food. Someone asked me the other day why I don't use baby food. I forgot my coherent answer and gave dumb answers at the time! But here are the real reasons. 1 Kids are fickle and you don't know what they are going to like. So I only buy food that I like. I have a grocery budget, you know! My kids eat what I eat and if they don't like it, then I can eat it. No wasted food. So, how do I feed my babies? May 1, 2014 at 9:36 AM. Follower...

The Bowmans: Catch Up
http://tofindingjoy.blogspot.com/2014/04/catch-up.html
Wednesday, April 23, 2014. I'm finally playing a little catch up. Here are a few things we have been up to since October. I like pictures better than words so it might be a long post. Sorry :). Over Thanksgiving, Grandma Polley treated us with a visit to the Children's Museum. We had tons of fun; especially in water world. Decorating the Christmas tree. Practicing to be Mommy. Kaybri and I went to Vegas for a week in February while Kreed was taking finals. Shopping at Sam's Club with Grandma.

The doozit family blog. Monday, June 24, 2013. Well, Nathaniel officially gets the concept of "two," as of today. This morning when he got up and went downstairs, he counted his steps all the way down: "One! He counted his baby Crocs a bunch of times (there are two of them! He counted whatever he could find. When he ate all his fruit snacks except for one, he held the one up and said, "MOMMY! Over and over again, elated to understand and articulate that he only had one fruit snack. He really enjoys that.

The doozit family blog. Wednesday, January 30, 2013. Cast iron, stainless steel, broken toe, new word. 1 I just ordered my first cast iron skillet! It was preseasoned and cost only $18, with free shipping. Now I feel stupid for waiting so long to buy it- in my head, a good cast iron skillet would have to cost at least $50, because they are so versatile and last so long. Um, yeah. No. Apparently you can get them cheap. Mine was even made in the USA. I'm really excited to use it. Tuesday, January 29, 2013.

The doozit family blog. Friday, April 26, 2013. Nathaniel has a NEW favorite word, and it is "Tuck." As in, "stuck." I never realized how many things are stuck in this world until my toddler started pointing out every single time anything is stuck. He lets me know when he is properly buckled into his carseat: "Tuck! He lets me know when his toys are stuck inside each other: "Tuck! He likes to have me and Carl grab him and not let go: "Tuck! His first sentence, if you can call it that, was "More tuck!

The doozit family blog. Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Attachment parenting 2.75 years in. We've been attachment parenting for almost three years now! Here's an explanation and review. Basically, attachment parenting is about encouraging child attachment to the parent (as opposed to discouraging it). It officially has seven B's. We did well with Sarah's birth bonding! I wear Baby Sarah everywhere always. It's awesome. Very convenient. She and I are very close. Belief in language value of cries. Awesome. ...
