https://entiendo.wordpress.com/2009/04/05/new-nose-needed
Just another Wordpress.com weblog. April 5, 2009. This slightly blurry cell phone photo of a Bear Friend in Athens, GA, shows what can happen when a bear is loved a bit too much. John David is taking apart his nose. A trip to Nana’s Bear Hospital is in order. I may need to go to Plan B with these noses. 4 Responses to “new nose needed”. April 5, 2009 at 6:20 pm. April 5, 2009 at 6:59 pm. Ah, but the bear is loved! April 6, 2009 at 10:06 am. His armpits are kind of sad, too. They are white and hairy.

losing it | I understand
https://entiendo.wordpress.com/2009/03/29/losing-it
Just another Wordpress.com weblog. March 29, 2009. The other morning as I was getting dressed for work, I wanted to wear a pair of lighter weight socks that I had packed away as winter arrived. It was probably 7:15 and I didn’t have ten minutes to hunt for my spring/summer socks but ten minutes is what I spent and still didn’t find them. Had I put them? 8211;there were my spring socks. All nicely rolled up and in the pockets. That never made it into long term memory. And I found a pair of bla...And while...

Bits and pieces about my life, how I live it and what I think about everything else. Wednesday, February 26, 2014. Since my last post. Christmas has come and gone. New Year has come and gone. Valentine's Day has come and gone. February has just about come and gone. And what do I have to show for all this time that has passed? I'm ashamed to admit it, but not a whole lot. Presque Isle Park, Upper Harbor. Super yummy yeast rolls. Amy (niece) and part of Mike's (her fiance) head. Remnants of Giordano's Pizza.

Knitty Bits: May 2011

Saturday, May 14, 2011. The One About Pestilence. The brood has emerged. There is such a thing as too many cicadas, just like there can be too much of a good thing. If a dog eats too many (of anything), nature takes over and assists the dog in getting rid of whatever it is there is too much of. Nature usually prefers that this happen on a rug. Again.so so nasty. Oh, and I haven't really discussed the noise they make when they are all worked up. I can only guess this is the mating call. It sounds ...

Yarn In, Yarn Out: Free Pattern: Able Cable Cowl

Yarn In, Yarn Out. YIYO stands for "Yarn In, Yarn Out," a fiber arts chronicle for crocheting, knitting, spinning, and quilting. Thursday, July 18, 2013. Free Pattern: Able Cable Cowl. This is where it all began- well, maybe not "all," but at least my free Able Cable blanket. Pattern began here, with my simple Able Cable Cowl pattern. It's the "yes, you can cable! Which is especially kind to beginners, i.e., easy. I can just hear you saying, "Oh, yes, it's our necks we're all worried about.". Which remin...

the plan | I understand
https://entiendo.wordpress.com/2009/06/26/the-plan
Just another Wordpress.com weblog. June 26, 2009. My blog has fallen into an abyss. While life is going ahead day by day, I sit here waiting for “something” to happen and feel like writing about “nothing” until it does. Sigh Maybe I’ve just had too much practice at waiting for life to “begin again” so while I’m in a holding pattern, I’m also holding my breath and doing the bare minimum creatively. I’m not even knitting! Huh I had to think about that one. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

Yesterday was my first day back and someone passed me in a corridor and asked me if I’d done s0-and-so yet. I replied that I hadn’t been here for the past month. And the comment was, “Well, it needs to be done.” Okaaaaaay. Welcome back. And my head—which is winning–says another (no, No, NO! And a YouTube video of the boys:.

It wasn’t quite as obvious to me and he backpedaled a little, said something about how he thinks we may all be Judases, and we could talk about it sometime. I don’t think so. The Joy Luck Club.
