Thursday, September 21, 2006. The Happiest Race on Earth. Once race down, three more to go! We got back on Tuesday from out trip down to Southern California for the half marathon and I feel like I'm still recovering! The race went very well and the trip was a lot of fun. here's the breakdown:. Just one of the cool things about this race, our bibs were personalized! The shirts weren't bad either but they are long sleeve and a little on the big side- who gives away a long sleeve shirt for a summer race?

Monday, September 29, 2008. It's less than 3 weeks to Nike! I'm feeling much more confident about it than I was a couple of weeks ago, but the true test will be the 10 miler this coming weekend! Tuesday, October 23, 2007. Saturday my alarm went off at 4:45. I actually slept really well. I wasn't too nervous about the race and the sofa bed at Rocky's parent's house was surprisingly. Comfy :) I got dressed, at my 2 bananas and Luna Bar and then Rocky's brother Martin came by to pick us up and take us to the start area. We got to the start area a little after 6:00 am and Union Square was already packed! Those posters provided some inspiration exactly when we needed it! We ran out of the Presidio.
