http://alwayssewlove.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 21, 2012. The weather here in Maryland has been unusually warm. Daffodils are blooming, Forsythias, Pear trees. It's crazy. Of course the weeds in my beds are blooming right along with them! Here are a few of the blocks I've made for the Wild Threads block swap. January blocks. Chris' above and Diane's below. February's blocks. Jennilyn's is the first one and Kathy's on the bottom. I made the orange one with blue stripes. Hope you are enjoying this beautiful weather! MD, United States.

The Bloggers Quilt Festival. A Wonky Log Cabin. Tuesday, October 30, 2012. I saw this piece of art at Target last year and really liked it but didn't like the $80.00 price tag. I took a picture with my cell and thought I would try to make my own. Here is the finished art work hanging in my family room. I bought a 3 foot long, 12 inch wide piece of pine at Home Depot. My husband cut it into three pieces and that was all I did until this week! Here they are together before I hung them up. One of the fabric...

Always Sew Love: April 2013
http://alwayssewlove.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 22, 2013. I decided to ask my director at the school where I work if I could get the children involved with my charity quilt. She said YES! The children are so excited! We talked about the organization that we were going to make the quilt for - Happy Chemo. I started with a huge tree on a light blue background and made "grass" with a couple of frogs hiding throughout. After the children wrote their names they were able to place their 'leaf' where ever they wanted on the quilt.

Wednesday, September 7, 2011. I am really excited about this post because it means that I can finally say those words I've longed to hear myself say. Fence project is underway. Yes, even with all the long hours/ hardwork. Running back and forth, we cannot wait for the end result! Blaine is at his comfort zone when he is with his daddy, busy in the dirt. Monday, April 25, 2011. So the kids are starting to make their beds in the morning and Blaine really takes this seriously! Over the past few weeks, I've discovered Brooke just throws her bed together.litteraly.she is such the Pre. Blaine, however, takes about 15 minutes and makes sure his sheets are straight and this morning cracked me up so I just had to share! Alex is his White Tiger that is blind and missing a nose. HE ADORE's. This little guy and this morning he was part of his "make the bed" routine!
