How I spent my Christmas Vacation. Friday, December 30, 2005. Home again, home again. I made a point of spending the rest of my pounds on hot chocolate and Crunchie bars. Oh, Cadbury, why don't you do more in the US? Lynn's flight took off late due to bad weather in Paris (quote from her friend Rebecca: "It's snowing like bird flu here! Miscellaneous parking receipts stacked in a neat pile inside the empty dashboard slot where a fancy radio could, but does not, reside. This is what America is all about. Now Matt asked for more info on the loaner. This culinary breakthrough, however, begs the question: why is there no chocolate-flavored peanut-butter?

On this, the last day of July, I see it fitting to briefly recap the events that have transpired over the last 30.5 days. Should have gotten those Cubans. That requires two conversions, and I observe a strict one-conversion-per-transaction limit. Made good time in Michigan, too. Speed limit 70! Then, four days later, off to Indianapolis for the wedding! And, finally, the (near) future! To buy new furniture and dishes. An...

I’ll start with something that would make the cut regardless: the most important thing that has happened to me lately, measured in terms of the overall life-analysis it inspired and the increase in stress it caused, is that I was very nearly diagnosed with a non-life-threatening, but nonetheless incurable and problematic, disease.
