Tokai Ireland 2010

Saturday, August 7, 2010. To mums and dads waiting in Japan. Just to let any mums and dads reading this that I have just left the boys at Dublin airport and they all checked in safely. You'll be seeing them soon! I was sad to see them leave but proud of every single one of them. They've been great and I think you'll agree that they've all grown up a little. Thanks for lending them to Ireland for 3 weeks. Warmest regards, Patrick. Friday, August 6, 2010. What I learned in Ireland. Different from in Japan.

Tokai Ireland 2010: Different from in Japan

http://www.tokaiireland2010.blogspot.com/2010/08/different-from-in-japan.html

Friday, August 6, 2010. Different from in Japan. During lessons at ICE the boys are expected to speak English. Although the lessons are sometimes hard, they've been having a lot of fun. There are 15 students in a class which means they have more individual attention than they're used to. And because most of the other students aren't Japanese they have a real reason to speak. As for this picture. Well. I don't know! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Promote Your Page Too. 160;  Euro Exchange Rate.

Monday, August 2, 2010. This is Glendalough, one of the earliest homes of Christianity in Ireland. Tokai Ireland 2010: Real Communication

http://www.tokaiireland2010.blogspot.com/2010/08/real-communication.html

Monday, August 2, 2010. The best way to improve at English is, of course to USE English! It's wonderful to see our students making friends and, of course they HAVE to speak English. Here is Kuzuya with a European friend getting on the DART. That's the local train that takes students from Malahide into the center of Dublin. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A blog to celebrate the visit of 18 Japanese Junior High School and High School boys to Malahide, Dublin, Ireland in July and August 2011. Wednesday, August 3, 2011. Of course they can't drink beer but yesterday the group went to the Guinness Brewery and Visitor Centre which is one of Dublin's most important places. Colin Sensei took this great picture of nearly all of them together. There was a lot of activity in the souvenir shop too! Big question. Who didn't make it into the picture?

He is one of the strongest English speakers in the group. Actually he's in the advanced class with Simon which is quite an achievement. He has one problem in that his name is difficult for people to remember so he has to repeat it for them! I'm very happy. I'm spending a really good time in Ireland. Picture Win...
