Finnish Race Taxi Project. Tuesday, December 16, 2008. The brake calipers arrived. The project moved forward by the find of brake calipers. The calipers are from a Chrysler 300C and they are street legal in Finland, quite lightweight and you can get aggressive brake pads. The problem with the T4 calipers was that the brake pads available were pretty much stock. Even though there isn't much work left, we don't have the time at the moment to build the car. We're supposed to begin in January.

Finnish Race Taxi Project. Wednesday, April 22, 2009. Preparations before first race track event. Right after the car show Mika took an angle grinder and removed the front wheelarches. New ones were made by removing arches from another car, welding on a 50mm strip of steel and the new wheelarch was then pop riveted into place. The tool to tighten the wheel nuts. 75mm. We just got the skirts and bumpers painted black, so we wanted to see how it looks looked from a distance. Looks nice. Square panda? The black skirts make the car look a bit like it's a bit higher off the ground than before. I guess we will just have to lower it more. One week until it's ready. Two weeks until first test. We are still missing the brakes and the car needs a lot of finishing work. Not it can be moved by driving in and out from the garage, so it's a big relief. Finnish Race Taxi Project. Thursday, June 19, 2008. Back to work on the Race Taxi. It's been a bit quiet lately because of other stuff hindering working on the car. Something new. A video recording system with suction cup mounted bullet camera. This will probably be used as a rearview monitor for our passengers, so the camera will be mounted on backwards on top of the car. We also bought a data logger on ebay, but more about that once it arrives. The first we did was to remove the ads on the car.

Ei yksinkertaisesti ole näyttöä siitä että sähkötupakan höyry olisi haitallista sivullisille, joten mitään syytä kieltoon ei ole.
