From Tennessee to Kentucky to West Virginia, Tom Holcomb calls Appalachia home. However, his musical influences are of a world-wide flavor and include classic rock, country, blues, flamenco and easy listening. Drawn to music at an early age, Tom began with piano, but soon found his main interest in the guitar. He found he could emulate popular artists of the day, but soon began producing original compositions in his own style. Still in his teens, he began performing professionally.

Graduated from University College London’s (UCL) Bartlett School of Architecture in 1993 with a first class degree and the prize for environmental design, followed by diploma with distinction in 1996. After a 10 year period working with the award winning architect. Becoming Project Director in 2003, the move from London to Brittany was made in 2005 to undertake an extensive renovation, learning and developing a set of building skills which now inform the design process.
