Tim's Training and Consulting Blog: November 2008
http://totalsafetycompliance.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Go Back To Total Safety Compliance Web Site. Wednesday, November 5, 2008. Exit 44 and the Voice of Reason. Today I was traveling across the overpass of I-80 in Oakland. When I got onto the 880 freeway going to the Oakland Airport, I passed Exit Number 44. As I approached that exit, it suddenly dawned on me that the 44th president was going to be someone that I did not vote for and this was an exit I had to take whether I liked it or not. (How Ironic). Go Back To Total Safety Compliance Web Site. Thursday, January 28, 2010. I guess being a safety professional keeps me honest in regards to power tools, ladders, safety glasses, oh and many other things! One thing it does not do, it does not allow me to have clairvoyance. On potential progressively, worsening back injuries. Namely: Mine. So seven months ago, I received. My last adjustment from my Chiro. An American in Tokyo: October 2008
http://higashipatrick.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
An American in Tokyo. Gershwin's World Tour '08/'09. Wednesday, October 8, 2008. Studying for the GRE is a Bitch. The vocabulary is what gets you. Archaic and incredibly rare words flood the verbal portion. I feel it to be a tremendous imposition because the usefulness of this test to a musician is like the usefulness of a dollar to the pocket of Warren Buffett (although, apparently, he is Frugality's poster child). Take that, Analogy Section! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Studying for the GRE is a Bitch.

An American in Tokyo: Daijoubu

An American in Tokyo. Gershwin's World Tour '08/'09. Tuesday, September 23, 2008. Two full nights out this weekend has made me a little tired. Gotta love those 5:00-6:00 am trains though. I actually fell asleep on the train (typical Japanese businessman-style) Saturday morning and missed my stop (twice) and had to go all the way back from Takadanobaba on the Seibu-Shinjuku line. It was the local train, too! A couple new pictures are up: http:/ flickr.com/photos/29247809@N06/. View my complete profile.

An American in Tokyo. Gershwin's World Tour '08/'09. Tuesday, December 2, 2008. I know it's been a while since my last post and I'm sorry for that. I am now in the final stages of completing my Winter vacation plans. A group of friends and I have decided to hit the slopes from December 30th through January 1st. It's not a very long time, but going on a ski trip during New Year's is CHO-TAKAI! UPDATE: I won't be staying at the Prince. Instead, I'll be staying at Karuizawa 1130. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

An American in Tokyo: The First Week
http://higashipatrick.blogspot.com/2008/09/first-week.html
An American in Tokyo. Gershwin's World Tour '08/'09. Monday, September 8, 2008. I'm sorry for not posting sooner, but this first week has been a very busy one. Let me begin by telling you about Cameron. I quickly ran down to the Mini Stop and bought some cockroach spray and, needless to say, Cameron is now dead and floating through the Tokyo sewer line. Cameron the Cowardly Cockroach. *It should be noted that Japanese cockroaches aren't small by any means. Fortunately, I Get Paid Tomorrow.

An American in Tokyo: Wild Night
http://higashipatrick.blogspot.com/2008/09/wild-night.html
An American in Tokyo. Gershwin's World Tour '08/'09. Sunday, September 14, 2008. Well, it was more like late night rice, but it sure hit the spot. On the way to and from the place where we got our food, we passed several prostitutes prostituting their way through a prostitutical evening. I couldn't make out what they were saying while propositioning us, but I'm sure it was like poetry. Hey, everyone's got to make a living, right? Fortunately, I Get Paid Tomorrow.
