Tom's Ramblings In Paraguay

Tom's Ramblings In Paraguay. Sunday, April 20, 2014. I didn't realize that we had to contribute a portion just to be eligible to have the rest paid for. Being 18, I didn't think about how complicated health insurance claims could be because my family took care of everything, and told me to focus on rehabilitation so I could head off to college in the fall. Isn't that for disabled people? What should I do? Me: "I currently live in Ohio, but that is subject to change". Can you think of another option".

Tom's Ramblings In Paraguay: Beginning the Transition

http://tomsramblingsinparaguay.blogspot.com/2013/12/beginning-transition.html

Tom's Ramblings In Paraguay. Sunday, December 29, 2013. After traveling for 3-weeks through Bolivia and Chile I left Santiago at 10:10 PM on December 19th. It wasn't until I was sitting at the gate that a flurry of emotions hit me that I had been suppressing since I had left Paraguay. Aside from the Paraguayans I would miss there were countless other people, things, and places that kept popping up in mind. Would I ever seem them again? Would I be able to go to that place in the future?

Tom's Ramblings In Paraguay: February 2014

http://tomsramblingsinparaguay.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html

Tom's Ramblings In Paraguay. Monday, February 3, 2014. Two nights ago I decided to make some dip for the super bowl. My immediate reaction was to throw it away, but then I thought how ridiculous that sounded. Why in the world would I throw away a Crockpot just because a replaceable part broke? Surely I would be able to fix it with minimal effort? I reluctantly threw it away, and am not proud to say that the action bothered me all day. I couldn’t believe it. I kept thinking how is this possible? Born and ...

Tom's Ramblings In Paraguay. Thursday, October 10, 2013. Monday Street and Traffic. Monday Street is about 30 yards from my house. Plants covered in dust layer. On a similar note, I've lost count of the amount of time a cab driver runs a red light when no one is around. What about the police? Why can't they do something? Truck kicking up dust. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Monday Street and Traffic. Born and raised in Cincinnati Ohio I graduated from Seven Hills School in 2007 and Denison University with B...

Tom's Ramblings In Paraguay: April 2013

http://tomsramblingsinparaguay.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html

Tom's Ramblings In Paraguay. Tuesday, April 23, 2013. Ever since arriving in Paraguay I have had several epiphanies concerning my lack of vocational abilities in maintaining a home or physical structure. My ineptitude in this regard can be explained in any number of ways, but for simplicity sake I'll concede that the primary reason is that I can get anything I ever needed fixed or replaced by picking up the telephone. Car broken? Take it to Jiffy lube. Yard in disarray? Neighbor: Your powers out.
