I saw it on Martha Bakes, cornbread, blah blah blah, and then she poured a whole cup of cream right into the centre of the batter before she put it in the oven! Go make it. Do pay attention to the size of the skillet though because when you pour in the cream it goes up right to the brim of the pan. Here is the exact recipe. 2 cups all-purpose flour. 3/4 cup yellow cornmeal. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1 1/4 teaspoons salt.
