http://seelizblog.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 18, 2011. Sorry guys, still no pictures.they're on Andrew's camera and I haven't had the chance to get them from him. Andrew, if you're reading this, SEND ME PICTURES. :P. Andrew, if you're reading this, DONATE. :P. If only to catch up on sleep and let my body chill out for a day? Maybe I'm just rationalizing, but hopefully I can jump right back into it tomorrow, either conditioning or swimming, maybe in the morning. Monday, April 11, 2011. My plan from here is to run another 5k on May 7, t...

See Liz Blog: Mission accomplished!
http://seelizblog.blogspot.com/2011/04/mission-accomplished.html
Monday, April 11, 2011. As you well know, my first real 5k was Saturday, and I blew my goal away! My official time was 38:49, which was well under the 45 minute goal I set for myself. I couldn't have done it without my personal cheering squad: Charity, Andy and Stephanie all ran right along with me and pushed me to run even when I was tired, and Natalie met me about half a mile before the end and ran along with me with her "Run Liz Run! See Liz Blog: February 2011
http://seelizblog.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 28, 2011. I finished my first week of workouts on Saturday! I was supposed to do three days of the circuit I posted earlier, plus a workout video of some sort in between (I chose a half hour of yoga, since it is relaxing and stretches me out). Yay for me! Now the real work begins. Tonight (my last day before my gym membership starts) I have to do the following:. 20 lunges with each leg. Run in place for 1 minute. March in place for 1 minute. Rest for 30 seconds (drink some water). Tuesda...

See Liz Blog: Pictures!!!
http://seelizblog.blogspot.com/2011/05/pictures.html
Friday, May 6, 2011. So finally the day before my next 5k, I remembered to finally get pictures from Andrew for my last 5k! Check out some pics below. :). Andy, Charity, me and Steph getting psyched for the race! The crowd at the starting line. Natalie made me a sign! Andy and Charity stayed with me almost the whole way, and then sprinted toward the end. Andy=annoyingly triumphant. Charity=adorably exhausted. My face is the same color as my shirt at this point. See Liz Blog: Blog Fail
http://seelizblog.blogspot.com/2012/01/blog-fail.html
Thursday, January 12, 2012. Clearly I have majorly failed in keeping up with this blog. But instead of trying to go back and catch up, I'll just start from where I am now and go from there. And whether that happens or not, I'll still be running a 5k two weeks later with my friend Charity, in the same Bloomfield 5k I did as my very first race last year. We're thinking about making it a tradition. :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Not Always Right Funny and Stupid Customer Quotes.

See Liz Blog: I have good news and bad news...
http://seelizblog.blogspot.com/2011/03/i-have-good-news-and-bad-news.html
Thursday, March 24, 2011. I have good news and bad news. I have clearly fallen behind on my blogging, but I will try to summarize the last week or so in my quest to run a 5k. I was really excited that I ran 2/3 of the way and didn't even feel like I was going to die at the end. It was amazing the difference half a mile per hour could make, and how much my confidence level changed from just a few days before. So those are the ups and downs over the last week or so. Sheesh. :P. I have good news and bad news.

Run-In With a Lizard | Ramblings from the Road: life on the festival circuit

Ramblings from the Road: life on the festival circuit. I never thought I’d be a folk hero…. Run-In With a Lizard. February 22, 2010. Tags: FlaRF Deerfield Beach. Patrick and I came home today from our errands to find a lizard in the hallway. It was just a little one, and from what I understand this is a normal occurrence here in Florida. Still It was a lizard in the hallway. We put our stuff down and Patrick tried very slowly to catch it to put it outside. The lizard did not agree with this plan. New car...

Costuming Thoughts | Ramblings from the Road: life on the festival circuit

Ramblings from the Road: life on the festival circuit. I never thought I’d be a folk hero…. March 1, 2010. I am not, by any stretch of the imagination, a great seamstress. I wish I were; it would make my life easier. But, alas, this is not the case. Recently, courtesy of Anne (with whom we are staying), I discovered Threads Magazine. Between my adventures in the Land of Draping and this periodical, I feel marginally more comfortable in attempting to conceptualize my next Maid Marian dress. Please don't t...

Early Mornings and Bratwurst. | Ramblings from the Road: life on the festival circuit
https://jonellfranz.wordpress.com/2010/01/14/early-mornings-and-bratwurst
Ramblings from the Road: life on the festival circuit. I never thought I’d be a folk hero…. Early Mornings and Bratwurst. January 14, 2010. Today began with a glorious sunrise. The best part is knowing I can barbecue without a propane grill. It is something I have wanted to try for some time; there is something wonderful about food that has been cooked over charcoal. And now that I know I can, I want to do it again! Perhaps steak or chicken next week… marinated, of course… Mmm. Larr; Avatar Wednesday.
