A number out. A couple of Victorian pinot noirs. There are so many interesting styles of pinot noir coming out of Victoria at the moment. I would be curious to see the latest planting stat. Monday, 31 August 2015. The Lane Vineyard Block 3 Chardonnay 2014. Pass the roast chook. Mind you, pork belly would smash this up too. There's great fruit on show here and it's hard to believe this is only $25. A top buy. Lots of peaches here; baked and fleshy white. There's some nectarine about it too which just chips away. Koonowla Clare Valley Riesling 2015. A classic Clare Rizza which has a little greenish tint. Worth a look to cut through the greasiness of fish and chips. Sunday, 30 August 2015.
