http://yummymummy-adventures.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
The adventures of yummy mummy. Tuesday, July 08, 2008. Today we had our last meeting before we go on our summer placements - we are leaving at 2.30pm tomorrow, hoping that Renie will sleep for at least half of the journey. We're dropping off another cadet on the way, so we have a full car! Our cleaning inspection is tomorrow morning, so beloved is just finalising the kitchen floor. The good thing has been that all the cadets have shared their top cleaning tips. It's amazing what you can do with b...I am ...

The adventures of yummy mummy: April 2008
http://yummymummy-adventures.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
The adventures of yummy mummy. Wednesday, April 30, 2008. Growing up way too fast. This week, Renie decided to tell me about what happens when small people, like herself, become big people. For some reason that I can't even begin to explain, she has decided her own definition of the difference between men and women. When boys grow up they get 'muscles'. When girls grow up they get 'a chest'. Renie is 3 going on sixteen. I thought they started this sort of education much later. Friday, April 25, 2008.

The adventures of yummy mummy. Thursday, May 21, 2009. But I reeeaaallly want a hamster. Mummy, I want a hamster'. So I said, 'Do you? Yes, I want a hamster with a little tail and eyes'. It is all downhill from here. Anyway, the question was put forward to the gatekeeper, and, surprisingly for all, without any hesitation whatsoever, daddy said 'yes'. I could have fallen through the floor. Suddenly it looks like I will end up responsible for a small wheel-pounding rodent as well as my other duties. I am a...

The adventures of yummy mummy: August 2008
http://yummymummy-adventures.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
The adventures of yummy mummy. Thursday, August 21, 2008. I took Renie to visit a farm a few weeks ago and we had the opportunity to feed the lambs with milk. Renie jumped at the opportunity although she got a bit concerned at the strength of the lamb when it was tugging the bottle. Just as we were about to go, in front of all the other toddlers who were getting soppy over the lambs, Renie asked 'Can we eat it now? Monday, August 18, 2008. Renie: 'Mummy, Edward (her teddy) is feeling sad'. 3) She gets fr...

The adventures of yummy mummy: February 2008
http://yummymummy-adventures.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
The adventures of yummy mummy. Tuesday, February 26, 2008. I'm not usually someone who likes the 'inspirational' verses that are sent round by e-mail, but I thought this one was quite interesting. Unfortunately it is about being a strong woman, so, knowing that there are male readers of this blog, I fully recognise I am at risk of being perceived as having a girly moment. Here it is anyway:. A strong woman walks sure footedly…but a woman of strength knows God will catch her when she falls…. This week is ...

Wednesday, July 23, 2008. Wow time is flying by fast, seems like yesterday we were still on out-placement in Darwin (NT)! Since then we've had holidays, which was a week off (bludging) followed by a week at Hillsong Conference with the Werribee Corps Crew. Hillsong was awesome, we had planned to take a guy with us from our time in Darwin, but that fell through, so we took Shauny from Altona Corps who had never been (one word - 'road-trip'! Baby news - I finally had my first ultrasound! I'm trying to figu...

RevolutionARMY: May 2008

Friday, May 23, 2008. I was feeling pretty average the other day, so sat myself down to relax with some mid-morning TV (on ABC), I found myself enthralled by a documentary on war strategy (Dad would be proud)! Here is some of what I learned about Defensive Battle Strategy (as used in World Wars I and II):. Have a clear mission and battle plan. Defend your lines and counter-attack in order to advance into enemy territory. A couple of other points were made about this kind of strategy. The PSYCHOLOGY.
