Totton U3A Church Visits. Wednesday, 26 February 2014. Our group met for the first time yesterday- Tuesday 25th February- at Boldre Church, near Lymington. It was a good start as 12 members turned up to enjoy the visit. We met for 2 pm and then proceeded inside the Church where we met two of the parishioners who had turned up to help us with our visit and answer any of our questions,. Brock and Braun before talking about our visit and then planning some future visits. Date Church. led by.

Totton U3A Church Visits. Wednesday, 23 April 2014. Our latest visit was to Romsey Abbey on Tuesday 22nd April and started at 2 pm. We had the services of a guide for a one hour tour(cost each £4.50) around Abbey which was very interesting. After which we retired to the South Chapel for tea or coffee and many different home made cakes(£3.00 each). 18 members turned up and a good time was had by all. Tuesday 27th May 2014.All saints Church Minstead.2 pm start. Please try and park in road outside Church).

Totton U3A Church Visits. Friday, 9 October 2009. The premier meeting of this group will be to the 'Cathedral of the New Forest' St Michaels and all Angels, Lyndhurst, on Monday 12th October. We will meet outside the community centre, Lyndhurst car park at 10.30 and we will be back again about 12.15. Arrangements have been made for the U3A to visit and Betsy Jenkinson will lead the group and will collect from the attending members as a group, about £10.00 as a donation to the Church.

Totton U3A Nature Watch. Tuesday, August 11, 2015. JULY BOLTON BENCH LYNDHURST. THE WALK WAS ATTENDED BY 10 MEMBERS, TWO GRANDCHILDREN AND OF COURSE THE GLORIOUS DAY WITH SUNSHINE. THERE WERE LOTS OF SIGTINGS WHICH INCLUDED PIED WAGTAIL, STONECHAT, SEVERAL LBJ’S, PLUS MEMBERS OF THE CROW FAMILY. FROM THE HIGH GROUND LARGE CRANES WERE SEEN, WHICH TURNED OUT TO BE THE GREY DOCKSIDE TYPES, THJERE WERE A LONG DISTANT AWAY. GROUND SIGHTINGS INCLUDED A FROG AND CONCLUDED A VERY PLEASANT MORNING ENJOYED BY ALL.
