Kvack: Point B
http://kvack.blogspot.com/2013/02/point-b.html
Wednesday, February 27, 2013. I posted yesterday with an old lousy picture from this location. This panorama might give a better idea of what can be seen [click for larger image]. The BNSF (ex Northern Pacific) wraps around below us on this side of the river. Track is visible to left and right, and in the distance just right of center. What appears to be a rail line going into a tunnel on the other side of the river is the Iron Horse Trail (ex Milwaukee Road Railway). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Kvack: February 2013
http://kvack.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 28, 2013. One hours drive from our front door we can be thoroughly in the mountains (or in ten minutes walk to a tidal beach - I get to the beach more often). Looking across to where the old road disappears beneath the (ice- and snow-covered surface) of the later Lake Keechulus. This is the fourth (and probably final) post of places along my solo daytrip yesterday]. Links to this post. Wednesday, February 27, 2013. Pedestrian suspension bridge across river from parking and picnic areas.

These are stereo pairs taken with my wonderful new chrimmus present. With a little practice, they are easily viewed in 3-D by "relaxing" your eyes as if to look at infinity, then focusing on the images without re-converging your eyeballs. You should see three images, with the middle one in 3-D. Links to this post. Whatever t...

Emerald Life: Talking to Strangers
http://seaball.blogspot.com/2014/11/talking-to-strangers.html
Wednesday, November 05, 2014. Blake came to work with me today. After patiently playing in the big room outside my office, we had a lovely walk around Tangletown and a donut at Mighty-O. We passed a number of people walking, coming and going from their homes, and at each sighting Blake hollared, "HI! Usually multiple times until the person acknowledged him. Emerald Life: The Ballard "Up" House
http://seaball.blogspot.com/2014/10/the-ballard-up-house.html
Friday, October 24, 2014. The Ballard "Up" House. I've walked or driven by this house a number of times, knowing only that a little old lady refused to sell to developers. It's my understanding that this story was the inspiration for the animated movie "Up." It's interesting to know more of the story. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A Festival of Hope. Monday, November 17, 2014. Guess which book we've been reading? Report from Grandma Jo: Blake just went down for a nap and is bonking around in his crib hollering "I think I can, I think I can! Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Sunday, April 27, 2014. How to Throw a Joint Baby and Bridal Shower. First, have two beautiful ladies (who happen to be cousins, as well as good friends) - one soon-to-be-married and one expecting a baby boy. Next, it's very helpful when they have a color in common. The expecting momma likes grey and elephants, the bride likes sherbert orange and they both like light blue! Use games that include both baby and bridal - decorate a onesie for the baby and undies for the bride!
