I have been in training for this steadily for many years. I've managed more and more miles and longer and longer over time. I have taken part in two 12 hour bikeathons along the way. At the moment I'm just trying to get the miles in everyday to know what it feels like daily. I'm trying to get it in day after day so at the moment (10th May 2006) I am upto 2 hours per day. Also I'm doing Superspin with Pete. At Fitness First in Doncaster. Every Wednesday @ 6.00pm and Saturday @ 10.30am.

With a serious brain injury, and his parents were told that he may never walk or talk again. I recently was nominated and won the Headway National Achiever Award 2010. The Event was at the Dorchester London and here I got chance to meet and was presented the award by James Cracknell and sat at the same table as Eric Knowles.

The idea of the talks are firstly to give people good news in 'they can achive', or 'you can do' and secondly to relate mine and my families experiences in what was good and usually bad about my hospital stay and my rehabilition. They asked me how long I wanted to so I told them 12. hours. So I've done 12 hours, 24 hours and Le Tour de Asda. These have raised over £53,000 for Charities such as. Headway Rotherham, The Brtish Heart Foundation, Rotherham ITU, Western park Hospital and others. And the customers i can provide the bikes. 24 hours - British Heart Foundation.
