The Hometown Tourist: Omaha. Seeking out and sharing the best of our community. Because there is far too much beauty and adventure in this world to think we can only find them by traveling far from home. Friday, March 26, 2010. I'm usually very careful about keeping food and crumbs away from my computer, but I can't help myself today. I'm going to keep munching on this delicious challah bread while I tell you about one of my new favorite places. The store also makes sandwiches - using fresh bread, of cou...

Wiggly Feet: November 2009

http://wigglyfeet.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html

Friday, November 6, 2009. Thursday we went to Afton State Park for a work retreat. I snapped a few pictures over our lunch break. I also played with changing a couple of the pictures into black and white. I picked up my sewing area and now I'm ready for the next project. Actually it is a continuation of a project I started 2 years ago. my sister's quilt. So I found a place to rent time on a longarm quilting machine and tomorrow. Katie's quilt is getting quilted! Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Costco thinks I should buy one of these and I do too. Wednesday, March 23, 2011. I want the snow to go away! I'm not sure Willow would agree. I wonder how long it will be until we can see the pond. Yesterday you could see some of the spring bulbs popping up from the ground. I'm so very ready for spring! Wednesday, March 2, 2011. Spring will be here soon! We ate at some good places: breakfast at the Egg Toss. Just outside of Washburn, South Shore Brewery. Tuesday, March 1, 2011.

Wiggly Feet: April 2011

http://wigglyfeet.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html

Friday, April 22, 2011. Coffee - a.k.a. no sugar vanilla soy latte - has seen me through some days of burning the candle at both ends lately. The ladybug that came with this delight in a cup just made the day even that much better! Last year I missed the blood root blooming, but this year we've had a beautiful show of the white flowers. Willow likes them too. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Minnesota, United States. View my complete profile. Baby Quinn's First Blog. All photographs and videos on WigglyFeet.

Wiggly Feet: March 2010

http://wigglyfeet.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html

Sunday, March 14, 2010. The weekend was jam packed of adventures. Erik and I had off on Friday. I got my car's oil changed. While that was going on, we ran errands. I got 5 inches cut off my hair Friday afternoon and we went to Run 'n Fun. I got a new running outfit that I sported for a run we did on Saturday morning so that I was dressed right for the drizzly March weather. Saturday night we went out for my Dad's birthday to Fogo De Chão. A Brazilian steakhouse in Minneapolis. It was a wonderful exp...

Wiggly Feet: Pink Ruffle Pillow

http://wigglyfeet.blogspot.com/2012/01/pink-ruffle-pillow.html

Sunday, January 15, 2012. Ran into this tutorial by Dawn at Designed by Dawn Nicole. And I knew I had to make it, but I made mine in pink for Valentines day, even though it really doesn't match anything else in my house, oh well. The only difference I did was I used a different dimensioned pillow and I put in a zipper on one of the short sides. I think I'll make some more in other colors. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Tourist In My Own State. Exploring the state I live in. June 26, 2014. It has been awhile since I posted, and I am very back logged. Last summer we went to Kings Dominion. I LOVE roller coasters! One of my favorites was the Big Bad Wolf. But it was taken down a few years ago for a newer roller coaster :(. The coasters that I used to love so much as Kings Dominion were the wooden ones: The Rebel Yell. It was crazy good! The climb on the Intimidator 305. Straight up on the Intimidator 305.
