Friday, November 6, 2009. Thursday we went to Afton State Park for a work retreat. I snapped a few pictures over our lunch break. I also played with changing a couple of the pictures into black and white. I picked up my sewing area and now I'm ready for the next project. Actually it is a continuation of a project I started 2 years ago. my sister's quilt. So I found a place to rent time on a longarm quilting machine and tomorrow. Katie's quilt is getting quilted! Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Costco thinks I should buy one of these and I do too. Wednesday, March 23, 2011. I want the snow to go away! I'm not sure Willow would agree. I wonder how long it will be until we can see the pond. Yesterday you could see some of the spring bulbs popping up from the ground. I'm so very ready for spring! Wednesday, March 2, 2011. Friday, April 22, 2011. Coffee - a.k.a. no sugar vanilla soy latte - has seen me through some days of burning the candle at both ends lately. The ladybug that came with this delight in a cup just made the day even that much better! Last year I missed the blood root blooming, but this year we've had a beautiful show of the white flowers. Sunday, March 14, 2010. The weekend was jam packed of adventures. Erik and I had off on Friday. I got my car's oil changed. While that was going on, we ran errands. I got 5 inches cut off my hair Friday afternoon and we went to Run 'n Fun. I got a new running outfit that I sported for a run we did on Saturday morning so that I was dressed right for the drizzly March weather. Sunday, January 15, 2012. Ran into this tutorial by Dawn at Designed by Dawn Nicole. And I knew I had to make it, but I made mine in pink for Valentines day, even though it really doesn't match anything else in my house, oh well. Monday, January 23, 2012. Queen of the Loveseat. Katie and I hand-stitched these little guys together for a baby gift. We saw them on etsy for $85 and decided to make them instead.
