khiciste: A Great Geometry Podcast
http://khiciste.blogspot.com/2010/11/lai-544-mod-12-post-1-great-geometry.html
Sunday, November 28, 2010. A Great Geometry Podcast. This is a great resource to review for the Geometry Regents Exam. Mr Andrejkovics helps break down challenging concepts to an approachable and manageable level. I'm encouraging all my students to visit it (I've added a link to the "Great Resources" section of my webpage). He also has an eBoard. Which contains solutions to many of the most recent Geo Regents exams. It's never too early to begin reviewing! November 29, 2010 at 8:52 AM. Good Math, Bad Math.

Beginner Blogger: Mod 4 - Ning findings (post #2)

Sunday, September 26, 2010. Mod 4 - Ning findings (post #2). I went on Ning and looked at the EFL classroom 2.0 and I think as someone who wants to teach outside the United States, this would be a really great place to go to get ideas and to collaborate with other EFL teachers who have taught/are teaching outside the country. It's a one stop spot to get tips, lesson ideas, and other people's experiences in the foreign language classroom. October 1, 2010 at 11:54 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

khiciste: Ian's Brilliant Magic 8 Ball!
http://khiciste.blogspot.com/2010/11/lai-544-mod-9-post-2.html
Sunday, November 7, 2010. Ian's Brilliant Magic 8 Ball! One of my Computer Science students created a Magic 8 Ball program. It generates a random number and displays a corresponding phrase from the original Magic 8 Ball's 20 answers. While checking it, I figured I'd see how much it actually knows with a question about the amazing NY Giants. This poster is proof that Ian's 8 Ball is as bright as he is! Monday, December 6, 2010. Podcast on American Culture. I searched American culture pods and podomatic pulled up an interesting podcast on American music videos. http:/ gdh.podomatic.com/player/web/2006-05-04T22 25 11-07 00. It would be nice to find a follow up podcast that reviews a specific music video so that you could demonstrate for students what you are looking for in their music video analysis. Links to this post. Monday, November 8, 2010. Bubblr and Flickr: Neat comic-strip resource for the classroom. After checking out some of the resources/tools that you can use alongside Flickr, I thought I would make a little comic strip. Using Bubblr. But also, you can pick what you want to make. I didn't do a traditional comic-strip, with characters and events. I just made a short introduction to seasons. If I was going to introduce bubblr (and flickr , of course) with my Seasons.
