Blood and Frogs: Jewish Genealogy and More: Tarnów and Thüer (Thier)
http://bloodandfrogs.blogspot.com/2013/08/tarnow-and-thuer-thier.html
Thursday, August 15, 2013. Tarnów and Thüer (Thier). Inspired by Edie Jarolim's post Tarnow Calling. In her great Freud's Butcher. Blog, I've decided to share this document I discovered in a family album. The document is from a factory owned by a relative of mine in Tarnów, Poland. From the fill-in date portion, it seems the document is from the 1910s. Jacob Thüer shows up. In addition to the submitter Klara Linger, two other children of Jakob Thier are listed – Samuel and Rudolph Thier. It app...For a l...

Friar Yid: May 2013
http://friaryid.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Playing Devil's Advocate since 2006. Sunday, May 19, 2013. I've taken a long vacation from politics, which is probably from the best. The governments of America and Israel continue to disappoint, terrible things continue to happen in the world, and every time I turn on talk radio on my drive to work, my urge to punch the dial rises. (Mrs. Yid has banned me from playing anything on the AM dial when she's in the car.). Figure that more Jews could benefit from learning about and from. Friar Yid (not Shlita).
