Sunday, November 10, 2013. Traveller In the Valley. Lighting on the bridge made for ho-hum photos. Our evening was spent in Lexington, home of Virginia Military Institute and Washington and Lee University. The innkeeper at the B&B was the quintessential ambassador of southern hospitality, in almost an absent-minded, down home kind of way. Starting in Asheville last year, I've been sort of collecting small town church spires and used the golden hour of the day to get several in this town.

Thursday, November 7, 2013. Tuesday was our split personality day. We explored Chimney Rock in the cool morning hours and then spent the rest of the day doing town things in Asheville.
