So originally I wrote a different first post, one that, at the time, I felt was thoughtful and introspective, while at the same time being quirky and entertaining, all qualities I would like to convey. And then I re-read the post the next day, realized it was none of those things, and promptly deleted it. It turns out this blogging thing is harder than I expected. Thursday, July 02, 2015. Life is all about the journey. Heading out on the JMT from Whitney to Yosrmite on July 6th. Hoping to go under 6 days 6 hours unsupported. That's the plan. Tuesday, June 23, 2015. If you can dream it, you can do it! Life can be so busy at times training , working , training, working . I like giving back to the trails i run. Saturday I will do trail work in Sunol for 8 hours with my friend Phil. It's part of running 100 miles and 200 mile races. We do trail work. Truman is a beast!
