If you stick to a schedule you have the comfort of that structure, the knowledge you’re going to be at a certain place at a certain time…or at least that’s what you plan. The dog and pony show. The beginning of the end, or the end of the beginning? Today felt a lot different than yesterday did. I awoke this morning and felt lighter, alive, and full of purpose. Clouds that had been hanging over my head for over a year had finally dissipated to reveal a bright blue sky (or rather gray but with a nice warm breeze). These cute lanterns lit the paths in the park around Yokohama Stadium. This glowing LED wall wound around the entrance to Yamashita Park. Strange fruit apparently decorated by kids earlier in the day. This one was powered by the frenetic efforts of the public on several attached stationary bikes. All in all, a beautiful night!

Are they for the spokes of children's bicycles? A makeshift replacement part for the ubiquitous tuk tuks? Or just a sign of the prior night's street-gambling shenanigans?

Lee's fascination with film continues to evolve as he seeks out projects of substance and vision that require dynamic visuals in the telling of story. I'm not so interested in letting the image draw attention to itself (unless that's called for), as I am in letting an image set a tone for the story and characters.
