I have spent time this month assess the journey, trying to put into words what I learned about myself and what this journey has added to my life and would like to share those thoughts with you. Crossing the ...

LISA'S BICYCLE ADVENTURE. Welcome to my Adventure. 3 MONTHS – 10 STATES – 4234 MILES! Riding to the Tetons. July 15, 2014. So I rode back to a turn out, unhitched BOB and fixed the flat. I had rode over a piece of glass early and a piece was embedded in the tire. As I pulled out my spare tube, none seem to be the right size. One was too narrow the other had the wrong type of valve stem! Antelope on the Wind River Reservation. Rocks along Wind River. Mountains along Togwotee Pass. We made it to the top.

LISA'S BICYCLE ADVENTURE. Welcome to my Adventure. 3 MONTHS – 10 STATES – 4234 MILES! Back in my college days, when we went camping, we threw a sleeping bag on the ground and called it good. Fast forward 35 years. Now I need a few more comforts for my outdoor adventures. My tent, is my home away from home. I have a Big Agnes Copper Spur UL1. The UL stands for ultra light, the 1 means it’s a one person tent. I love this tent! April 2, 2014 at 7:52 AM. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

LISA'S BICYCLE ADVENTURE. Welcome to my Adventure. 3 MONTHS – 10 STATES – 4234 MILES! First and most important is my trusted steed, a Surly Long Haul Trucker. It’s a great bike that for years has been the go to bike for touring cyclists everywhere. My Surly has faithfully carried me through three longer tours, a number of weekend trips and countless daily commutes. I’ve even done a few organized rides with my Surly. Then there’s my BOB trailer. The other problem, between the bike and trailer, you’r...
