He's here. He's there, just out of reach, just out of sight, just beyond range of hearing. I can feel his hot breath, I can sense his cold stare. The darkness is upon me and torturing my essence. My soul burns. Hell on earth will not claim me. It burns, it rips me apart every day but I will not submit.

Tuesday, November 16, 2010. November 8th, 2010. I apparently missed a month there. Here's what's happened: We had a great Halloween with Penelope dressed as a gnome. We went to Rhinelander. A day came when our world changed forever, and we will be sorrowful for the rest of our lives, but we will go on. I cried. I skipped a guitar lesson. I cried. It snowed. I cried. If you have been keeping up with Penelope's blog, then you have been in touch with what's been going on with our family. I might keep this around for the occasional rant, we'll see. Tuesday, April 06, 2010. I dunno where we're going in August, but it will likely involve a big chunk of vacation time. I am also going to book my Christmas and Thanksgiving holidays. May as well get these things that we KNOW we will be doing and get the time requests logged. I am going to leave a full week of unaccounted for time. It's sad that my wife has worked at her job for only four years but has more accumulated vacation than I do as an eleven year loyalist at this company. Heidi Hi Heidi Ho.

Obama is urging the Department of Health and Human Services to allow gays to visit lived ones in the hospital. I don't have issues with that. Neither should you. What do you care if a sick person is comforted by the one person on earth they love the most? Really, isn't that how it should be? Until today when Obama set a thirty-year goal to get humans to Mars.

Technically, I was trying to find an old album called Dumb Ditties that included the track, "Seven Little Girls (Sitting in the Back Seat)," but when I typed in Dumb Ditties as my search term Amazon had a different idea for me altogether. I did click Amazon's suggested link to dumb titties. Unfortunately, Amazon then informed me that, "Your search 'dumb titties' did not match any products.". What a letdown after they got my hopes up! Friday, July 01, 2011. Although as with all things in life, I am sure some other curve ball will come along to surprise us when we're not quite ready. The biggest thing has been G's father. He had an abdominal aortic aneurysm and it has been an unbelievable few weeks as we come to grip with possibly losing him, then losing parts of him, then actually seeing him slowly recover and planning for a rehab facility so he can become active again.
