Breath Of Life

The life and times of Mr Mark Allen. Wednesday, March 04, 2015. Hello - It's been a busy old time. Since Christmas I have had loads of visitors and had loads of visitors, human and feline. I have rediscovered my love of old Momus tracks, been to a lot of gigs and spent a lot of time at the gym. I am doing the publicity for the transplant racquets/table tennis event at Warrington/Widnes - and with my day job keeping me busy for at least eight hours a day, it's all been manic. Breath Of Life: September 2005

http://www.transplantwait.blogspot.com/2005_09_01_archive.html

The life and times of Mr Mark Allen. Wednesday, September 28, 2005. A tale of two singers (and lots of nuns! Latest: My article on Blogging is in the Express and Star tonight.(Friday). Ooooh more media whoring from yours truly. Radio WM rang up and needed someone to speak about a proposed change in the law which will mean everyone who dies will be a potential organ donor - unless they opt out in their lifetime. (The 'opt out' system). There is already a link to the site of the old convent (or monastery -...

Well I may be writing to myself here. It's Sunday and it marks 10 months of being on the transplant list for new lungs.Everyone says its a race against time.but it feels like I am running and I cannot see the finish! Breath Of Life: It's been a while. I have been expecting me!

http://www.transplantwait.blogspot.com/2013/10/its-been-while-i-have-been-expecting-me.html

The life and times of Mr Mark Allen. Sunday, October 27, 2013. It's been a while. I have been expecting me! From the start of 2005 I started writing this blog. This was before Twitter and Facebook and I wanted to start an on-line diary of my life struggling, while waiting for a double lung transplant. For me the first part of the blog depended on audience. I wanted to express to people how my life was coming to an end and needed their help (by signing to be organ donors) to survive. In the last year or s...

Breath Of Life: March 2005

http://www.transplantwait.blogspot.com/2005_03_01_archive.html

The life and times of Mr Mark Allen. Thursday, March 31, 2005. Show me the way to armadillo! Busy few days cher Mark. I went to the huge free-for-all some men know as Longford Island Bank Holiday Car Boot sale on Monday. I certainly got the exercise but I think people would have bought the oxygen cylinder from my back if they could! Everything was for sale from Viagra to Vinegar. The thing is so large (ooer) that you see something, hunt around to find it cheaper and you can't find the original 'stall'.

Breath Of Life: Blue Monday?

http://www.transplantwait.blogspot.com/2014/01/blue-monday.html

The life and times of Mr Mark Allen. Tuesday, January 21, 2014. Firstly. I have recently done a little article about blogging. I come at it form an angle you may not expect. CLICK ON ME PLEASE! Well then. So what has happened. A recent long weekend in Surrey/London/Ascot kind of refreshed my batteries, and kind of made me wish for more time off! I am so far sticking by my pledge to keep my energy levels up. I am trying to go to the gym every alternate day - if only for 40 minutes. This Monday was meant t...

Tales of a Mid Twenties Lad in London. Monday, February 16, 2009. The Moors of Mitcham. To thank for what has been one of the best, and most needed, days out in ages. Tales of a Mid Twenties Lad in London. Saturday, January 31, 2009. At 3am this morning it has to be said that this wasn’t quite what I was thinking. In fact what I was in fact doing was restraining a naked Mr B as he made for the fire exit with one of my steel toe capped boots in his hand. The reason for this slightly bizarre image I have given you? The neighbours from hell of course! Retelling the whole sorry saga back to one of my friends this morning she said ‘. Tales of the City. Tales of a Mid Twenties Lad in London. Thursday, August 27, 2009. Who is the new London Editor of Bent Magazine. Oh it just happens to be me! Sorry but I am barely able to contain my thrill at the news but I will talk about it properly in a bit. So what have I done in the last nearly five months? I moved into a new lovely two bed flat twice the size of my last. Made the decision to move my book blog, Savidge Reads. As it got too much traffic and needed a revamp. Mourned a Goldfish, got a new one.
