Ngakma Nor’dzin Pamo. Saturday, 2 May 2015. Fluctuating health and catching up on art journalling. Theme: watercolours; It’s water under the bridge. One thing I didn’t mention in my last post about staying at Treowen Manor House. Theme: acrylics; ‘Cry me a river.’. This situation has meant however, that I got rather behind with my art journal work, but I finally had a good catch up last week. Theme: gelli plate; ‘A lot on my plate.’. A blog about owning horses. Wednesday, 17 July 2013. Dee has her proper summer colour for the first time in three years. She is a dark bay in her winter coat, but much lighter—almost chestnut—in her summer coat. The summers in Wales for the last two years have been so wet and cool that she never really fully lost her winter colour. It is great to see her looking so sleek and chestnut. We looked around for him, but did not see Red this visit. Hopefully we will see him next time. Long and short rides.

A blog about owning horses. Friday, 15 March 2013. There was nothing we could do but head back to the yard. When we arrived back at the beginning of the Wenallt trail, we took them both a few metres up the pedestrian trail that we are not supposed to ride – just so that we could end on Dee moving forward as asked rather than going straight home. A blog about owning horses. Thursday, 26 March 2009. I still feel a bit churned up about having given my notice at Wyndham. It will be a big change and I shall miss Sally and everyone else at the yard, but at least I should now be able to afford to keep Red indefinitely – possibly into his 20s, by which time I will be in my 60s and probably we shall both be ready to retire.
