Thursday, August 13, 2015. Drive from Srinagar to Leh on NH-1D. I am not a fan of road-trips. I prefer sleeping through road journeys, especially in hilly regions because I am terribly road sick. Given my history, Ladakh seems like an unlikely choice of destination. However, a road trip from Srinagar to Leh [though National Highway-1D] was on my bucket list for a very long time, more so as I had fed my wanderlust for Ladakh through tons of photos on social media. Finally, I had no choice to succumb!
