Res Ipsa Knit With Her: Fair Isle Baby
http://resipsaknit.blogspot.com/2009/09/fair-isle-baby.html
Monday, September 28, 2009. I FINALLY found a hat pattern. Fair isle in that the colors change every other stitch when you are doing the pattern so therefore you don't have the long color runs that mess me up. I even learned to "pick" and "throw" having a different color in both hands. There are definitely more of these hats in my future! To see something much more impressive than another hat - go on over to Jen's blog. And see her beautiful Ulmus. Way to go Jennifer! I'm so impressed (and quite envious).

Res Ipsa Knit With Her: Earth Baby
http://resipsaknit.blogspot.com/2009/06/earth-baby.html
Sunday, June 14, 2009. As I mentioned before. It had to knit up quickly! I went with Universal yarn Classic Worsted. It is 80% acrylic and 20% wool. I knit the blanket on size 11 needles so it went quite fast. The pattern is of my own design. I was thrilled with how it turned out as was the soon to be mom. I hope she ends up using it often. Maybe she could walk the dog . . . . Oh Allison, I love that color combination. Im sure Js teacher will love it! The blanket it great! I LOVE the blanket! I think I m...

Res Ipsa Knit With Her: Never Enough Time
http://resipsaknit.blogspot.com/2009/07/never-enough-time.html
Tuesday, July 21, 2009. Yarn It just shimmers and comes in all these gorgeous deep colors. I decided a scarf out of the luminous turqouise was just the thing. I tried some lace designs but ultimately decided a simple ribbed scarf shows of the yarn the best and is oh so yummy! It's taking me much longer to make progress on the scarf even though I seem to progress quickly on the shawl. I think it's the knitting in the round! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Saturday, July 04, 2009. Happy Fourth of July! Happy Independence Day to all of you. I hope everyone had a wonderful day filled with fun and family (and maybe even a little knitting! We started the day with a parade down one of the main streets of our town followed by a BBQ and swimming at our friend's house. We brought Cake Balls. On the knitting front - I made a cupcake pin cushion for Mom out of the new Spud and Chloe. Both your cakes look fabulous - the cake balls and the cupcake. I STILL have no...

Res Ipsa Knit With Her: Happy Memorial Day
http://resipsaknit.blogspot.com/2009/05/happy-memorial-day.html
Monday, May 25, 2009. I also just found out that there will be a shower for the Little Man's kindergarten teacher who is expecting a baby in July. She is expecting a boy and she loves earth tones so I made this little veggie hat for her and I'm working on a blanket. The hat was VERY quick and a great and easy gift. To continue with my "start-itis", I am thinking of knitting the Ulmus. My good friend Kristin. Nominated me for an award. Now for my fab five of inspiration - I decided to make sure I had five...

Sunday, September 23, 2007. Sock it to Me. My work on the Boot Socks for Horsey Girl is ongoing. I have not worked on it non-stop but it still seems to be going very slowly and I still have another entire sock to knit! Also many thanks to Janice for teaching me how to post a button (it was a seriously remedial course that I needed! I have also just started a blog roll. I've only had time to add a few but am planning to add several more. I'm so excited to learn these new technological tricks. Three Panel ...

Res Ipsa Knit With Her: Round and Round and Round
http://resipsaknit.blogspot.com/2009/07/round-and-round-and-round.html
Wednesday, July 15, 2009. Round and Round and Round. I've been working on the Girasole. By Jared Flood and I must say that I LOVE this pattern! It's really quite easy yet it looks so fancy in the end! I have been wondering lately what's going on in the knitting blog world. It seems we're all posting less and commenting less. Does that just mean we're busy? Have people gotten tired of the blogs? Is everyone spending their time on Ravelry instead? Do other people see what I see? I hope not, I like blogs.

Res Ipsa Knit With Her: Surprise Jacket
http://resipsaknit.blogspot.com/2009/09/surprise-jacket.html
Monday, September 21, 2009. No Bonnie - no more babies in my future but plenty of knitting for other people's babies! This jacket has intriqued me for a long time so I finally decided to make one. The pattern comes on an extra long piece of paper with lots of writing, diagrams, etc. But then when you start to make it you realize there are only two paragraphs of instructions and I've got to tell you they are NOT THAT CLEAR! I love the internet! Still crackin up over that one. Love the colors! Summer of th...

http://resipsaknit.blogspot.com/2007/11/fetch-me-some-yarn.html
Friday, November 23, 2007. Fetch Me Some Yarn. We're still in Oregon for Thanksgiving week and having a wonderful time. I decided Mom and I needed a project we could do together so, motivated by Janice's. No second mitt syndrome? Your fingerless mitts are beautiful! I finished a pair of these in August, but I never posted them because the'll be a Christmas gift.and I wasn't sure if the recipient might figure it out. Fetching is such a fun pattern. I love the two tone ones! It is a fun pattern, tho! I'm t...
