Tassajara: Off-Road Mayhem
http://tassajarahouse.blogspot.com/2006/02/off-road-mayhem.html
Erik and Chris' South America Blog. Saturday, February 18, 2006. One morning we awoke to the smell of pancakes and bacon at Kyle's parents' house near Lake Lopez. We had a slumber party stuffing 8 into the living room. Anyways, the smell of the bacon inspired us to go destroy some nature with some 4x4 trucks with extra large tires- off roading. Our goal was to follow High Mountain Road to Pozo Saloon for some burgers. Shorty- Chris' extra sick, hard core rock crawler- was hungery for some river boulders.

Blue Seagull: September 2009
http://ramblingsofablueseagull.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 10, 2009. So, I was about to search Google for "how to install a new battery" to find out the best way to start out with the new battery for my MacBook Pro. Do I let it charge, then let it run all the way out? Can I just start using it? Do I need to charge it, then I can use it without letting it run out? I type " How to. In that order. I don't know what this means. Does this mean that out of all the "How to's" typed into Google. the 3rd most common is how to smoke weed? We reached th...

Monday, June 06, 2011. The DongXi (东西 dōngxi) Shop. These shops are one of the closest things I've found to garage sales in C-Land in that you just never know what you may find in them—and in that what you find is usually pretty cheap. The DongXi Shops are also especially useful to the crafty mind. I never cease to confuse the shop owners as I evaluate the use of wire mesh for displaying photographs, or piping to act as a flagpole or to be made into mini hurdles. Links to this post. Monday, August 20, 2012. Convenience Is A Wonderful Thing. The grand total of 18 bills, covering 18 months of water was 663.40 yuan (roughly 100 USD)- - amazing! Now granted, while some of the bills were for before I even moved into my apartment, the vast majority of them I have to take responsibility for. I also have to take responsibility for all the electricity bills that I never pay on time. And I know what you're thinking:. What if they turn off your water? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Tassajara: 4th Annual Christmas Tree Burning Festival
http://tassajarahouse.blogspot.com/2006/02/4th-annual-christmas-tree-burning.html
Erik and Chris' South America Blog. Saturday, February 04, 2006. 4th Annual Christmas Tree Burning Festival. Just over a month after Christmas a tradition was continued in which all who gather for Christmas around their Christmas tree were asked to come and gather around their Christmas tree but on fire. Save those Christmas trees! Let them age to a fine golden brown and then burn them in a blaze of beautiful glory. Preferably in numbers. I think we had 25 plus trees? Posted by Tassajara @ 2/04/2006.
