http://travelingtexanblog.com/new-york-city-part-two

Friday, December 5th, 2014. New York City – Part Two. The first week of December is almost over! Wasn’t it just July? Ready to hear all about the great attractions I visited during my short stay there? First off Rockefeller Center (fitting since it’s the home of that beautiful Christmas Tree). We were able to make a quick stop here on our last morning in New York. I did not get to go ice skating BUT I did get on the Today Show with my mother! I’ve included some helpful links at the end of this post.

Who wants that extra hour back? Yes, it was hard to get up this morning but at least it stays lighter later now! Today I will be writing about the wildlife and landscape at the final camp that we stayed at in the Ezulu Game Reserve in South Africa. The Coastal Camp, located right on […]. Rainy weather is the perfect time to get cozy on the couch with a good cup of tea and catch up on blog writing don’t you think? Let me ask you a question. How does the photo below make you feel? Or are you like me? There...

Monday, November 17th, 2014. Ranch Trip – Fall 2014. I guess winter decided to show itself before Thanksgiving in Dallas this year. It actually SNOWED last night. Also, it is supposed to be 70 by Wednesday again. I need the weather to make up it’s mind, but I do live in Texas so that is wishful thinking. I hope everyone had a great weekend! Check back later this week for a post reviewing the restaurants of my Seaside trip back in August. Until then, stay warm! 3:59 pm no comment.

Tales of a Traveling Teusink

Tales of a Traveling Teusink. Tuesday, June 2, 2015. June, How I Loathe Thee. June is the worst. Seriously, I hate it. As a teacher, I hate June because I say goodbye to students…some who are leaving for good and some who are simply leaving my daily life. Sure, I teach middle school now…it shouldn’t be as emotional or hard since most of my students will still have me for math next year. But not all of them will. That’s reason #4 for June being my least favorite. Reason #3 is the unknown of summer. You wo...

Traveling Texan Teacher

Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Why did the cow cross the road? Sometimes I think the joke here should be "Why did the cow cross the road? Possibly the best answer would be "to stop traffic." Other possibilities include:. To get to the garbage pile. To add an obstacle to the road. Because it thought someone had food for it. Because there is less traffic in the middle. Because it was time to wander home. All the other cows were going there. To test driver's reactions. It believed in free range grazing. Is what we w...
