Garden of Fuzz: August 2006
http://gardenoffuzz.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 29, 2006. And we're off.like a herd of turtles. Last day before we leave, still so much to do. My SeaSilk was waiting for me at home last night, two skeins snuggled side by side in the envelope, kind of like kittens. Same size and shape as snuggling kitten-loaves anyway. Next we'll all be travelling in airline supplied paper jumpsuits and booties. Mark my words. My pets all know something is up. Even the mice. Camp out in any luggage left open, and protest when removed. Gave me my birthda...

For which he was named. But we sing it to him anyway. Posted by Eden at 4:20 PM. Tuesday, March 21, 2006. The knecklace loops ...

Thursday, April 27, 2006. He likes it, he really, really likes it. He’s worn it every day since I finished it on Easter Friday. Even though I’ve been knitting in fits and starts since I was nine years old, this sweater is the first actual garment (not including scarves, shawls or hamster clothing) completed for someone else. Well, the first successful garment anyway. Traffic, by Tiesto. Posted by Eden at 11:30 AM. Wednesday, April 26, 2006. From Star Trek II, The Wrath of Khan. One, by Metallica. 1) your...

Wednesday, July 26, 2006. Trapped in the fourth level of hell. At work these days, and so exhausted I've been neglecting the blog more than usual. So here's a meme. (Stolen from Michelle's blog. You Have a Melancholic Temperament. Introspective and reflective, you think about everything and anything. You are a soft-hearted daydreamer. You long for your ideal life. You love silence and solitude. Everyday life is usually too chaotic for you. Given enough time alone, it's easy for you to find inner peace.

Fuzz" is something I had to add on as "Garden Of" was taken, and fuzz it was due to my liking (obsession? For fuzzy things of all kinds. Animals, yarn, sweaters, you name it. All of these things will eventually become apparent in later days when this page has a bit more to show. Bandwagon, here I come. Posted by Eden at 2:17 PM. Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The Shy Knitter: March 2007

Saturday, March 03, 2007. Just going to have a look . Going to an art gallery can be much like going to a yarn shop. I am just going to look, one will convince oneself. As they go in, but once inside the door it is all whole different matter completely. Case in point, Doris McCarthy. The Group of Seven. And others.). What sets her apart is that she is her work is still affordable, mainly because she is still alive. Last year we didn't go to her gallery opening. Perhaps the extravagance. This year, she ha...

The Shy Knitter: October 2006
http://shyknitter.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 29, 2006. Mighty, mighty yarn-a-vor! Here I am, intrepid traveler before setting out (at 7:30 Saturday morning) for the 3rd TTC Knit-a-long. Part of this trip's gear is my 'Campfire scarf' made from Artfibers. We decided sometime ago, that if we were ever to do another social knitting thing, we better have some name tags (as we tend to be a bit, shy). So here is mine, Eden did a much more festive one appropriate to the upcoming Halloween holiday. Explain it. There was buzz that she co...

My family has many talented people in it. The first picture shows my dad holding up a card given to him by my cousin Sandy, who. Posted by shyknitter @ 9:42 PM. Wednesday, July 12, 2006.
