Travelling with fish scales | Our journey to discover our Polish roots
Travelling with fish scales. Our journey to discover our Polish roots. Our journey to discover our Polish roots. September 21, 2008 by trikim. Can you believe it after seven months of planning and nearly eight years of “thinking about it” we are about to climb onto the plane for our great “Polish Expedition”. But I read about it on the internet so it must be true. There’ll be photos and videos (hopefully! So no-one will miss a minute of the action! October 9, 2008 by trikim. It was always so cool to thin...

travelling with food

Travels without George
Our life on the road/water starting in the summer of 2007. Sunday, August 9, 2015. For a pair of political junkies such as ourselves this is a great time to be travelling with a satellite dish. It hasn’t been without challenges but we finally have a system that works to allow us to take our TV with us on the road. And we’re solidly on the road for roughly the next month. This spring I bought us a Winegard carryout dish. Posted by Jorgito's dad. Monday, August 3, 2015. With the door out of the way the n...

Travelling With Grace
Tuesday, October 9, 2012. Here are the first fruits on our young tree tomato, known in some places as the tomarillo. Now the long cold, wet winter has finally passed, and it has been time to rejuvenate our food garden - clear the mint that has been set on food garden domination, recondition the soil with compost and worm castings, and plant new seeds and seedlings. We can look forward to spinach, celery, strawberries, Italian parsley, radishes, pumpkins, parsnips, carrots and some real tomatoes! I don't ...

Travelling with the Guitar
Travelling with the Guitar. I've been called a groupie, a roadie, a coolie. but all I really am is wife to my guitar-playing husband who travels some. I get to tag along, to take me away from the monotony of obsessive house cleaning. Here, I log our adventures with food, airlines, hotels, food, organisers, fans, food, people, books I read. Did I say 'food' already? Well, someone's got to tell people what life's like on the road, right? Wednesday, June 22, 2011. Did I miss Father's Day? Then you can decid...

Travelling with Hart - For the solo traveller...with an eco Heart!
For the solo traveller.with an eco Heart! An International Christmas in Alicante. Alicante: An International Christmas In deciding how to approach this column I had 2 choices: 1) Write a pleasant, sterile piece about how great it is to study a language in its country of origin…. Review: Hotel Tylösand, Sweden. Want a taste of the pop star life? How I got my Iceland passport stamp. A Newbie Abroad.because Idiot Abroad was taken. Why don’t you go swim with the sharks! Belize part 3: Cave tubing Cave tubing...

Joy in the Journey
Joy in the Journey. Friday, August 7, 2015. Broken Arm, Swimming Lessons, Bike Riding, and D.C. Noah and his siblings loved their swimming lessons at the Troy Aquatic Park. I did too. I was impressed with how well Alexa and Noelle, the instructors, worked with each child at their ability level and how they weren't afraid to work with Noah with his limb differences. He wasn't afraid either. He really loves diving for rings. Noah wore his legs 7 hours in a row. Saturday, July 18, 2015. Look at him go!
