This is one slightly dangerous route covering some of the best scenery that the Western Ghats can provide at the peak of its beauty, the Monsoons. We covered nearly a thousand kilometres in two days through rains and forests and hills and beaches. Travel Stories of India. Malakkarappara , Kerala. Monsoon Road Trip 2014. After much deliberation and planning we decided to travel to Kerala, God's own country for the Monsoon Road trip. DAY 1 : Bangalore to Namakkal. We started late from Bangalore on my friend's Scorpio and drove towards Namakkal, a small town in Tamil Nadu. Dead at night we got a good deal at a hotel called 'Sanu International' . DAY 2: Namakkal to Kumily and Gavi. The room provided a wonderful view of Namakkal fort early morning.
