It is a two-phase project. First the distribution of fish nets to affected fisherfolks, and Second, a knife fish processing, for the spouses of fishermen. Labels: fish for life. Rotarian Pinoy, D3830. Tuesday, June 12, 2012. Andres Bonifacio, Phillippine Independence and Rotary. Today is Philippine Independence Day, June 12 each year. A national holiday to celebrate the Philippines' independence from Spain on June 12, 1898. Of course we never really got independence from the Spaniards as the Americans immediately took over as the new colonizers in 1898. Last June 01, 2012, Prof. Michael Charlestone "Xiao" Chua. I thought that Michael would look down on Andres Bonifacio, he did t...

Sustainable Development: Huge, old mango tree for sale
http://sustaindevelopment.blogspot.com/2015/07/huge-old-mango-tree-for-sale.html
Some notes in forest farming, agriculture and terraces building. Saturday, July 18, 2015. Huge, old mango tree for sale. How big in terms of diameter at breast height (dbh), I don't know, I did not bring a measurement device, but it would require about three men to hug the tree. Below, our farm caretakers, Nong Endring Paragas and his son, Danny. There are many huge branches at the top, but some of them are already dead/rotting and some are dying, can no longer sustain even few leaves. June 12, 2007.
