Jonathon Williams - Travels on Canvas: Truman Boatyard

http://www.travelsoncanvas.com/2014/11/truman-boatyard.html

Sunday, November 23, 2014. I would often pass this small repair spot off Truman highway in Key West. But this day I met a young man who had sailed from Holland and thought how amazing that was. He was making major repairs and I sat down and did this small color study. Very hot,but a painting came out. Promote Your Page Too. Click to View My Website. He began his professional career drawing and painting the Navajo and then his musical friends. From there it was a natural step to Jazz and Blues musicia...

Jonathon Williams - Travels on Canvas: Windward Side

http://www.travelsoncanvas.com/2015/01/windward-side.html

Saturday, January 3, 2015. Living for a long time on the island of Bora Bora gave me access to a different way of life. Many times I'd break a branch off a bush and set it down on the one road that circled the island. A truck or car would see it and stop and give me a ride. I'd go to the windward side that was more raw and walk and explore and find a good composition at waters edge. Strange people, strange ways and beautiful coves. Here's one 8 X 10 called "The Windward Side" Put on sale for $125. He bega...

Travel Songs - travel journal, music

The Original Travel Songs since 2002. Hey friends it's been awhile since my last update. Unfortunately, I was recovering from a serious illness, but I am back. You might have noticed that the photo/video page was recently hacked. We have all the photos and videos and are in the process of putting them back up. Travel Songs will be updating shortly with new stories and music and a new design very soon. In the meantime here is a new song. About a dear friend living on Reunion island. Enjoy.
