I took short cut through the park's Cedar Canyon Road to the Cima Road to I15 and east to Las Vegas. Here is a shot of the strip in Las Vegas. This has to be the tackiest city in the United States! This is a good detail of how the main components of the building were built, they would make framing, fill them with rocks and pour in the concrete. The expected drop in wind didn't eventuate, and the fire turned out to be a bit of a fizzer as the drum was positioned too high for any meaningful heat to radiate out, and we couldn't see it either. So we sat shivering with a dog on each lap to provide a bit of warmth, drank our beers and gave up when it stated to spit again. Oh well, we tried. Links to this post.
