This trip consisted of six main parts, and some thoughts afterward. Canada to Iceland and layover before proceeding to Scotland (May 2. Edinburgh and the Highlands (May 4. Looping back to catch the plane (May 21. A summary of the good, the bad, and things we'd change in The Plan. Canada to Iceland: May 2 - May 4. Friday May 2, 2008. We took Friday off work to finalize the packing and had Airways Transit. Pick us up in the afternoon for the run to the airport. Then we were off to Iceland, on IcelandAir.

Its co-ed,its non-contact, and it certainly is different. A few of us picked up this sport by playing over in Guelph and have started a local game to allow us beginners some room to have some fun. The Waterloo Whitetips are a small but growing group of mostly new players playing hard and having fun.

In July of 2012, the Dark Ages Recreation Company. DARC) returned to L'Anse aux Meadows. Apparently, they liked us so much in 2010. That they wanted us to come back! Unlike previous years we (Neil and Karen) were pretty tight on time, and Neil had been having a stressful year at work. This time we flew into Deer Lake, spent a long weekend in Gros Morne and then headed up to L'Anse aux Meadows, Newfoundland, Canada - the only verified landing site on North America for the Norse during the Viking Era.
