Matthew Parisi: January 2011
http://matthewparisimusic.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, 20 January 2011. Brighton Recording Studio Pictures. It's been a busy few weeks since coming back to Brighton after New Years. Have completed an album with Mitchell Taylor courtesy of StrummerVille, finished engineering the vocals for Seero's debut album, started layering Tom Cravens second album and finished a charity single for Louis Steadman-Bryce which is hopefully coming out for Beyonce's very own charity. Suffice to say, it's been slow on the blog because of this! This Must Be Pop.

Matthew Parisi: Robert DeLong: The Indie Calvin?
http://matthewparisimusic.blogspot.com/2013/07/robert-delong-indie-calvin.html
Sunday, 7 July 2013. Robert DeLong: The Indie Calvin? According to Nigel Harding (Radio 1 Executive) Robert Delong is the Indie Calvin. A sloppy description I believe but I see the point. He does sing on his own club production. Besides the four on the floor kick pattern, his use of percussive synths and hat samples and what sounds like a djembe that run in and out of the track provide some interesting grooves. Then of course there is the snare! Whether he will really break into the mainstream music is y...

Matthew Parisi: About
http://matthewparisimusic.blogspot.com/p/about-music-production.html
By no means a mover or a shaker. A simple blog on music I enjoy and want to tell the world about in my own roundabout way. I've been involved in music from my early teens having been fortunate enough to be trained at a local studio and be involved in a somewhat jaded but now quite influential music scene from the gray landscape of Milton Keynes. I studied at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music where I worked with a number of bands at Audiobeach studios and promoted live acts at various venues.

Matthew Parisi: Writing with Sarah Proctor
http://matthewparisimusic.blogspot.com/2013/03/sarah-proctor.html
Sunday, 17 March 2013. Writing with Sarah Proctor. So far the feedback from both our management has been good and we're talking about some more dates to write more tracks for the EP or album as well as potentially putting a music video together. However, for now, keep an eye out for some acoustic videos from Sarah Proctor appearing on YouTube very soon! Coffee/Whisky/Guitars/Synths/Cats. not necessarily in that order. Writing with Sarah Proctor. Ria Ritchie: I Feel Close When Youre Next to me.

Saturday, 16 March 2013. Ria Ritchie: I Feel Close When You're Next to me. Younger Sister of actor Reece Ritchie (10,000 BC and Prince of Persia), Ria Ritchie is a singer songwriter hailing from the most easterly point of the UK. Ria then released the anthemic single "Only One"in May of 2012 and promised an Album in February of 2013. The song is great, her vocals are on top form, she has all the right people behind her so why haven't you heard of her yet? Https:/ twitter.com/ria ritchie. This Must Be Pop.

Matthew Parisi: Lauren Aquilina: Fools
http://matthewparisimusic.blogspot.com/2013/03/lauren-aquilina-fools.html
Sunday, 10 March 2013. After hearing the Berkshire based singer/songwriter on BBC Radio Ones Introducing I almost immediately had to look her song and EP "Fools" up on Spotify to have a listen. A lot of great acts come up through BBCR1 introducing but very few sound so complete and as finished as Lauren Aquilina. Http:/ www.laurenaquilina.co.uk. Http:/ www.twitter.com/laurenaquilina. Matthew Parisi: February 2013
http://matthewparisimusic.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 26 February 2013. Fall Out Boy: "So Light 'em Up! Guitar music has been kind of missed from sorely from the Radio One culture but Fall Out Boy are shoving it back in our faces with their bombastic and high octane single "My Songs Know what you Did in The Dark". Bad song title aside, musically this the most interesting and well produced release of theirs and the vocals are beyond cool from the repetition to the big anthemic chants and whaling guitar-esque falsetto of the chorus. I came to this re...
