It was announced previously that the celebration of the outdoors will be held at Estrella Mountain Regional Park, instead of the usual spot along the river near Phoenix International Raceway. The location of the Tres Rios Nature and Earth Festival March 6-7 has been changed for 2010, thanks to Mother Nature and the man-made water flows down the Gila River west of Phoenix. Estrella Mountain Regional Park, one of Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Department's crown jewels, has agreed to host the seventh annual event due to heavy rainstorm-related runoff rendering the familiar location near Phoenix International Raceway unusable.
