http://traceyslp.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Ian and Traceys Great Adventures! Beginning our adventure into parenthood. Wednesday, June 20, 2012. It has been a WHIRL WIND of a summer already! This year flew by so quickly, probably because I was working so much. I was working at school, most days starting at 7:30 and ending between 5:30 and 6:00. I had 3 days of clubs after school and 2 days of homebound speech services. Then I had babysitting events with Seeking Sitters most weekends. around 40 hours a month of babysitting! Another perk (if you can...

Who Are The Marshes? Newer posts →. October 31, 2013. I think I might try this! Basically you take a picture every day and edit it to work on your photography skills. I think I might actually start tonight since it is Halloween. Hopefully I can get some good pictures of my boy dressed as Yoshi. Free to Breathe 5K. September 23, 2013. Courtney taped my ankle up because I hurt it a week or so ago. I didn’t run all week last week so I knew I would be a little slower than usual. I guess I made the hubs proud...

Who Are The Marshes? March 31, 2014. While all of that is going on we get a phone call that Courtney’s wrestling coach and our teacher from Jr. High and High School had a stroke while coaching at a wrestling tournament and was in the hospital. We were in SHOCK. He was one of the healthiest and most physically active people you would meet. Four days later he passed away. It was crazy! It really made us look at our lives and think that no one is immune to well anything! State weekend was a great weekend!

Who Are The Marshes? May 22, 2014. Daddy will miss the game on Wednesday.) Daddy is going to miss practices and a few games in the next month because he is going to be working in Emporia again for the summer. This should be the last time he has to do that. It’s a big sacrifice but we will need the money at the end of the summer. I was so proud of him! 8221; The first time he scored he “slid” into home and smiled the biggest smile I’ve ever seen and said, “I did it! Cael and I are still going strong with ...

Monday, June 24, 2013. This past week has been Kids Kamp at our church. Basically one of the best weeks of our summer! On our way to church later, I asked him why he wanted to wait, and he said, "I already took a bath, I didn't want to take one again." So I explained that he didn't have to take a bath to be "washed clean," but he had to pray to be washed clean. Then I just dropped it for a while. Here is my born again boy, first birthday May 11, 2009, second birthday June 21, 2013! Tuesday, June 18, 2013.

Monday, August 26, 2013. New (School) Year, New School, and Lunch Picnic Dates. This year Garrett moved from a school we have been at since he was almost two, to a totally brand new school. To say he was nervous was an understatement. He was white as a sheet! Poor guy, but he did fantastic! Picked him up that afternoon, and asked "How was school? Good" "Oh, and you didn't pack a snack, just remember to do it tomorrow.". Later I asked what his favorite part of the day was, and shockingly it was recess.

Saturday, September 28, 2013. Sleepover Not Slumber Party. That's the difference between boys and girls spending the night at each others houses. Garrett turned seven, and for his birthday he wanted a "sleepover" and I kept saying "slumber party." Apparently I was wrong, but however I said it they had a blast! They had so much fun that they were all asleep by 9:30. Yes, Garrett's mom needs to learn how to write with icing. Sunday, September 22, 2013. Yeah, I held him. He tooted. -Tripp. Garrett has been ...

Monday, August 25, 2014. Hello Second Grade and Kinder! This year both boys started "real" school. Garrett is off to the second grade, and Tripp starts kinder this year. They were both excited and ready to start. I think I said hug your brother like you love him. My favorite picture ever! Finally a decent brother picture. Tripp chose neutral colors this year for the first day of school. Tripp and Mrs. Morrison. Garrett and Mrs. Huckaby. Friday, August 22, 2014. Lunch in the fort. Your shark hat of course!

Thursday, October 31, 2013. Jack's not the Only Toothless. We celebrated Halloween the weekend before, so for Halloween night we were able to spend some much needed family time. We decorated cookies (from a kit I might add.,) Garrett lost his tooth on said cookies (why I mentioned I didn't make them.,) we ate mummy dogs, and played pin the nose on the pumpkin. Best Halloween yet! Wednesday, October 30, 2013. His sweet kangaroo class. More photos can be found here. Monday, October 28, 2013. I had my camer...

Who Are The Marshes? December 31, 2013. It doesn’t seem possible that another Christmas has come and gone. I cannot believe that we just celebrated Cael’s 5th Christmas! Each Christmas we spend with him is more fun than the last. This year he was so appreciative of everything he received. He was happy and excited and appreciative. Almost every gift he opened he would hug and say, “This is what I always wanted for Christmas! I think he was excited about it. But ya know what? Thursday morning we got up and...
