On anything and everything. Click here or on the clover leaf to visit our website. Thursday, 15 September 2011. We are now on the last leg of our Peruvian tour and have fetched up in this odd but beguiling place. Yesterday we spent a couple of hours wandering round the beautiful and peaceful Santa Catalina monastery. A small town within the town, where the daughters of wealthy and middle class Spaniards "retreated" in the fifteenth century. And who could blame them? What choices were offered them?

Trifolium: A BIT OF A BOOB!

On anything and everything. Click here or on the clover leaf to visit our website. Wednesday, 11 April 2012. A BIT OF A BOOB! I have never been good with numbers- I am more of a word person- but I am by no means proud of my "number blindness", and have never been able to understand why some people think it's OK to be innumerate, as long as you aren't illiterate. Because of my inability to "see" numbers, I usually cut and paste them, which is what I did- or at least it's what I think. A BIT OF A BOOB!

On anything and everything. Click here or on the clover leaf to visit our website. Monday, 29 March 2010. JAFMHT- Just Another Medieval Hill Town. I like things to be on a human scale. When I enter a magnificent church, I am not. Reminded of the glory of God (well I wouldn't be would I? And of the insignificence of human life. Quite the opposite: I marvel at human endeavour and ingenuity throughout the ages. Why do people ask "Is this all there is? What more do they want? So what is this all about? What ...

However, this year, everybody is doing their own thing, and only Kate and her little family of two cats and a dog are in Cumbria this year. Catbells and Robinson from Crow Park.

Is a very important word in my vocabulary, and Quality. Is another, and for me, they go hand in hand. I have written about quality here. And it is the main criterion I use to select the books I publish. However, I recognise, seek out, and exploit Quality in all areas of life. When I find it I like to celebrate it. Watch out for the Under Toad: The Dog and The Beach
http://glueandglitter.blogspot.com/2012/12/the-dog-and-beach.html
Watch out for the Under Toad. Monday, 31 December 2012. The Dog and The Beach. Newly groomed, it was inevitable that Wicket would find the quickest excuse to get mucky again. He had plenty of opportunities on the beach. Mawbray is a fabulous place for a dog walk; a lovely wild stretch of beach with ever changing colours and moods. Considering the time of year, it was relatively mild and the wind was not too biting. Snoopy shows off his confidence in jumping small streams. Wicket doesn't. Image: Hercules ...
