Grace & Truth Magazine. TBC was started in Nairobi in 1978 in the home of the Underhills in a new housing project called Donholm. A church building in Greenfields was completed in 1989. There are now more than 80 members, with well over 150 adults attending on Sundays. More literature can be found on the literature page. The 66 books of the Bible are the inspired and fully authoritative words that guide this local expression of the church of Jesus Christ.

Grace & Truth Magazine. P Perseverance of the Saints. We also believe in what are termed the Five Solas (‘sola’ is a Latin word meaning ‘only’). The Scriptures alone, our final authority. Grace alone, only source of salvation. Faith alone, only way to receive salvation. Christ alone, only Mediator of salvation. To the glory of God alone, highest goal of salvation. Grace & Truth Magazine. We have developed a three-year course of study for men already engaged in Christian ministry. They come to Nairobi bi-monthly from Wednesday to Wednesday (8 days) for lectures. We want them with us over the weekend so they can experience the life of the church. At home they are expected to do a lot of reading and assignments. Keith Underhill is the only teacher at the present time.
