Friday-Sunday: had a fun time in Atlanta with Wes, Shannon, Cait, Gracie and Daniel as we celebrated the girls 3rd birthday. Monday- chilled out at my mom's and went to the Loop for dinner with my dad and his wife, Jan. Friday- chilled out and left for Nashville. It was a nice break to be able to sleep in. The kids and I were getting ready to go outside and play the other day when I heard, "Mom, come quick! There is a HUGE turkey in the backyard! I quickly ran to get my camera to snap a quick picture. Once I took the picture I realized that it was not a turkey but a vulture! It was only there for a few seconds but we opted for an indoor activity for the afternoon. :-). Links to this post.

It's always nice to sneak away together as a family even if it is just for the day. Pretend to be scared guys so I can take your picture" (Pretty good acting if you ask me! This little guy was not scared of us one bit! I know it is still winter but it was a very warm day-all the flowers are starting to bloom again.

Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Three weeks, 2 days. Tonight I realized it'd been six weeks almost since i last wrote on the blog and I felt compelled to put something down. I'm sorry.
